Dr. Amy Gerber Smith is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and has been creating beautiful smiles since 2005. Born and raised in the Mid-Ohio Valley, she graduated from St. Marys High School as valedictorian of her class. She received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University, graduating with honors. In addition, she obtained a Masters degree and completed a residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY.
Dr. Amy served as President of the Blennerhassett Dental Society, and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, West Virginia Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, West Virginia Dental Association, Young Emerging Leaders of the Mid-Ohio Valley, and the Junior League of Parkersburg.
Dr. Amy has been featured in the Parkersburg News & Sentinel's "Faces of the Future" and won "Best Orthodontist" in the Readers' Choice Awards. She enjoys giving back to her community by involvement with local schools and sports teams, as well many charities. In her spare time, Dr. Amy enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Rich, and their daughter, Audrey.
